He has been working as a swimming coach for the last 4 years, with experience at prominent institutions such as The Sports Gurukul, Pool Academy Aquatics, and Michael Phelps Swimming Academy. He is currently coaching at The Bay Club in BKC. Sushant is certified in ASCA Level 1 & 2, as well as SFI Level 1. He has participated in several competitive swimming events, including the 61st Sunk Rock to Gateway of India Sea Swimming Race in 2025, where he completed a 5 km swim. He also competed in the 1st Invitational State Level Swimming Competition at Nerul Gymkhana in 2024, and in the Mumbai Sea Swimming Championship 2024 at Renaissance Club, Andheri, where he swam for one hour and covered 2916 meters. Additionally, Sushant took part in the Swimathon 2025 at Khar Gymkhana, completing 2725 meters in one hour.
